About Open Luck
Open Luck was born out of frustration. As security researchers, we spend countless hours watching conference talks from DEF CON, Black Hat, BSides, and others—hunting for that one specific implementation detail, tool release, or conceptual breakthrough.
The knowledge generated by the infosec community is staggering, but its discoverability is broken. Video descriptions are often sparse, critical tools mentioned mid-talk are never linked, and finding talks about specific CVEs or techniques requires relying on external search engines that don't understand our domain.
Our mission is simple: to index every exploit, every tool, and every talk, making the world's cybersecurity knowledge instantly searchable.
The Platform
Open Luck uses advanced metadata extraction and AI analysis to process hours of conference footage. We don't just index titles; we extract:
- Specific tools and frameworks demonstrated
- Exact CVEs and vulnerabilities discussed
- Underlying target technologies and attack techniques
- Whether code or tools were officially released
For the Community
This platform is built for penetration testers, red teamers, bug bounty hunters, and defensive engineers who need precise information quickly. It's designed with a "signal over noise" philosophy—fast, dense with data, and strictly focused on the technical realities of our field.
